Patrick Koenig's 450-Course Record, in Breakfast Balls

Patrick Koenig played 450 eighteen-hole courses in 365 days, breaking a mark that Cathie and Jonathan Weaver had held since March 2009. He started January 3 and closed it out at Omni Interlocken in Denver on October 17. Thirty-nine states, three countries, and more than $30,000 raised so far, headed to First Tee of Greater Seattle and other local charities. He's aiming at 500 before the year ends.

For cataloguing purposes, this one is a story, not a release. The only new garment mentioned is the commemorative quarter zip Ben Douglass handed him with the 450 on it, described as one-of-a-kind, so nobody is adding that to a want list. Breakfast Balls gear appears throughout the RGV tour, which makes Koenig's photo archive a decent reference for what that line looked like in 2023.
